Arterial Design
2021

I developed the design and documentation for a large children's space at the National Museum of Australia centred around play-based learning and storytelling. The complexity of the project required me to design and document partition walls, environmental graphics and custom interactive play elements, and to specify materials and FF&E, while integrating with the base build and coordinating with the various contractors involved.

The project called for a strong knowledge of building code, accessibility requirements, playsafe standards and designing for ease of maintenance. The scale of the project and the value-management processes involved required a thorough understanding of budget considerations, feasibility restraints, and the multi-level coordination necessary for work of this nature.
